Save a pet!

The Hookey was originally invented to prevent the entanglement of other rods and accidental damage inflicted to seats, carpet, life jackets and other materials in a bass boat. Since creating the product, more people have told me nightmare stories of their pets being seriously injured or died from accidental ingesting of lures tainted with remnant fish odors.
